About Me

So how do you even start to know which counsellor would be right for you?

The main and most important part of counselling is the relationship and connection that you have with that person. If you don’t feel comfortable then it will be very difficult for you to share your inner most thoughts and feelings and your therapy will not be beneficial. You need to be able to trust the person and feel safe.

How can I help?

I have worked as a counsellor and Psychotherapist since 2016 in a variety of settings including Charity agencies, G.P surgeries and Further Education colleges as well as running my own Private Practice.

I have also been in therapy myself so really do understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step but equally how beneficial it can be.

I have experience of working with many clients of all ages and have helped people with many issues.

If you struggle with confidence I can help you to recognise negative thought patterns and beliefs and we can work to understand and challenge these.

If you struggle with anxiety and self-doubt I can help you to feel more positive and assertive.

If you are grieving I can help you to feel more connected to your loss in a positive way.

I am passionate about helping people and do this in a welcoming, safe, supportive and confidential space. I will not make decisions for you but will help you to understand why you feel and behave the way you do and find your own way forward. You hold the answers, we just have to work together to find them. Counselling can help by taking the time to concentrate on you in a safe space away from life’s distractions.

I am committed to providing effective and focused counselling working closely with clients in a totally non-judgemental environment to help them make effective decisions leading to positive changes in their lives.
